Kids Ministry

At Restored Church South Bay Kids Ministry, we want our kids to know, love, and follow Jesus. We’re not focused on behavior management or just “being good.” Instead, we help kids see the beauty of Jesus’ perfect life, His love for them, and His finished work on their behalf. Even when they mess up or fall short, they learn that God’s grace meets them there.

Each week, our teachers model vulnerability, humility, and gentleness - creating a space where every child feels safe, seen, and loved. The Gospel is woven through everything we do - from playtime and singing to stories, crafts, and classroom routines — because we believe Jesus changes hearts, not just habits.

Kids Ministry is a place where your kids can grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and experience the transforming love of Christ. We’d love to have your family join us this Sunday as together we point our kids to the only One who can truly change hearts - Jesus!

We do not take lightly the fact that parents are entrusting us with their beloved children. We do everything possible to provide a safe environment for all ages; including security, background checks for volunteers and age appropriate rooms.

Kids Ministry Socials and Special Events

At Restored South Bay, we believe church is more than just Sundays - it’s about community, fun, and building friendships rooted in Christ. That’s why we host kids socials and events throughout the year!
Recent socials have included:
  • Preschool Picnic at the Park
  • Toddler Sensory Play
  • Elementary Movie Nights
  • Kickball at the Park
These socials are designed for laughter, relationship-building, and spiritual connection in a relaxed, age-appropriate setting. Kids and teens get to enjoy fellowship, good food, and fun activities - all while feeling seen and loved in our church family.

Special Events
Also, at Restored South Bay, we love creating spaces for families to connect, celebrate, and grow together! From our Trunk or Treat outreach event, annual Christmas Party celebrating Jesus’ birth, to our Summer Kickoff at the Park and more - these annual events are joyful traditions that help our church live out its mission and share the love of Jesus with our South Bay community.
